
The potential for apple cultivation and export in Uzbekistan is increasing day by day. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to data from the National Statistics Committee, from January to August 2025, the country exported a total of 22.6 thousand tons of apples to 10 countries. The total value of the exported products amounted to 11.6 million US dollars.
Among the main buyers, Russia and Kazakhstan lead. 10,721 tons were delivered to Russia, and 10,098 tons to Kazakhstan.
Additionally, 1,275 tons were exported to Kyrgyzstan, and more than 300 tons each to Turkmenistan and Iraq. According to experts, Uzbekistan can become one of the leading countries in apple cultivation in Central Asia.
Due to the natural taste, high quality, and competitive prices of these products, demand for national products is increasing in foreign markets. The increase in export volume will not only raise farmers' incomes but also further strengthen the economic significance of the country's agricultural sector.
