Within the framework of the New Tashkent project, not only visually pleasing modern buildings and wide streets will be constructed, but also underground infrastructure that meets contemporary requirements will be established. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This infrastructure is designated as one of the most important and innovative parts of the urban planning concept. Multifunctional underground complexes will be organized in the central areas of the new city.
These complexes will provide transport services, trade and household services, as well as social services all in one place for residents and visitors. Thus, the load on the city surface will be partially transferred to the underground infrastructure, making pedestrian movement safe and convenient, and ensuring the adaptation of the urban environment to modern standards.
The underground complexes to be built within the project are planned to be not only technically advanced but also tailored to human needs and inclusive. For example, car washes and electric vehicle charging stations will be established in the underground areas.
Additionally, special areas will be allocated for bicycle parking, scooters, and other micromobility vehicles. Childcare rooms for parents, separate parking spaces and service points for citizens with disabilities are also important parts of the project.
All facilities will fully comply with international standards. According to experts, the new underground system could become a significant turning point in the architecture of New Tashkent.
This will transform the city into a comfortable and sustainable megapolis not only aesthetically but also functionally. During the construction process, energy-saving solutions, natural lighting systems, and intelligent sensors ensuring safety will be used.
Urban planners emphasize that this approach will improve infrastructure while freeing up traffic flow and creating convenient walkways for pedestrians. Various services such as cafes, shops, banking services, and emergency points will also be located in the underground areas.
Once implemented, New Tashkent will stand out not only for its modern buildings but also for its perfect underground infrastructure. This will place it among cities that meet global standards, being comfortable and humane.
Thus, the New Tashkent project serves as an example of future architecture and a practical expression of creating a safe, comfortable, and sustainable environment for people's lives. Source: zamin.uz
