Starting from November 12, 2025, new tariffs for hot water and centralized heating services will be introduced in the city of Tashkent. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the decision of the city mayor, the following tariffs have been approved for the population, budget organizations, and other direct consumers. The main tariff is set at 711,641 soums per Gcal, for the population 139,860 soums per Gcal, for budget organizations 925,797 soums per Gcal, and for other consumers 342,296 soums per Gcal.
According to the new calculations, the price of one cubic meter of hot water including VAT for the residents of Tashkent will be 8,928.7 soums. If there is no meter installed in the household, the monthly payment per person will amount to 34,868.9 soums.
For heating, a payment of 241.4 soums per each heated square meter will be charged. According to information from “Veolia Energy Tashkent” company, the capital’s residents do not pay the full cost of thermal energy.
Approximately 80 percent of the expenses are covered by local budget subsidies. This mechanism serves to reduce the payment burden on the population and ensure social stability (source: zamin.uz).
