The price of mackerel in Tashkent has sharply increased
The rising prices of fish products, especially mackerel, in Tashkent city are attracting the attention of the population. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In particular, discussions on this topic have intensified in active social media groups. For example, in the "Potrebitel.uz" group, users reported that the price of smoked mackerel at the Mirabad market has increased from 120,000 soums to 175,000–200,000 soums, while frozen mackerel has risen from 90,000 soums to 150,000 soums.
Other users also confirmed this change, noting that in some cases prices reach 160,000–195,000 soums. One buyer recalled previously purchasing smoked mackerel at the "Aviasozlar" market for only 58,000 soums.
Additionally, some emphasized that they paid 420,000 soums for four mackerels at the Alay market. Based on such discussions, it is observed that the population is not satisfied with the increase in fish product prices.
