
US President Donald Trump announced the signing of an important trade and economic agreement with Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He posted this news on his social media page. According to the agreement, over the next three years, Uzbekistan plans to invest nearly $35 billion in several strategic sectors of the USA, including minerals, aviation, automobile parts manufacturing, infrastructure, agriculture, energy, chemistry, and information technology.
Furthermore, this figure is expected to exceed $100 billion within the next ten years. In his statement, Trump referred to Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev as a "highly respected head of state" and expressed his gratitude to him.
He also emphasized his anticipation of long-term and effective cooperation between the two countries. This agreement is expected to bring trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and the USA to a new level.
