A modern industrial zone worth 350 million dollars is planned to be established in the Quva district of Fergana region. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This project will be implemented by one of Turkey's major companies – "Heyal Holding". This was announced during the agreement between the governor of Fergana region, Khayrullo Bozorov, and the founder of "Heyal Holding", Vahdettin Heyal.
The main goal of the project is to develop the regional economy and expand modern production capabilities. More than 15 multifunctional facilities are planned to be built in the new industrial zone.
Among them are manufacturing workshops, shopping centers, hotels, conference halls, and product exhibition rooms. The project pays special attention to modern technologies and environmental standards.
The production processes will be organized based on "smart systems", and solar panels will be installed to increase energy efficiency. At the same time, waste recycling systems will be introduced.
The project also envisages the establishment of a vocational training center to prepare local personnel and improve their qualifications. The new enterprises to be built in this area will play an important role in providing employment for the local population.
During the visit of the Fergana region delegation to Turkey, other issues were also discussed. In particular, Governor Khayrullo Bozorov met with representatives of about 30 Turkish companies to discuss investment opportunities in the automotive, construction, jewelry, energy, and information technology sectors.
For example, "Aktiv Group" plans to build a hotel in Fergana and restore historical buildings, while "Aydin Gold" expressed interest in implementing new projects in the jewelry sector. Additionally, "SMTR Group" explored localizing the production of fuel tanks for cars, and "Seyhan Ambalaj Makina" planned to establish the production of packaging equipment at the Quva logistics center.
Moreover, the "Cabani Shoes" company intends to open its third official boutique in Fergana. In October, Khayrullo Bozorov and Vahdettin Heyal met twice to hold discussions on 25 major projects to be implemented in the industrial zone.
Concrete proposals have been developed for six of these projects. In the near future, specialists from "Heyal Holding" are expected to visit Fergana to develop project documents and begin construction preparations.
Ultimately, a memorandum on international cooperation was signed between the Fergana regional administration and "Heyal Holding".
