Restriction imposed on 6 thousand subscribers due to waste debt
In Tashkent city, the ability to pay for electricity has been temporarily restricted for 6 thousand subscribers who have debts for waste services. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This measure was implemented to eliminate the debt arising from waste services in the city. On November 5 of this year, more than 25 thousand subscribers were notified via SMS from the short number “2100”.

After the warning, the electricity payment ability of 6 thousand subscribers who did not settle their debt within 5 days was temporarily suspended. Currently, the total debt for waste services in Tashkent city exceeds 582 million soums.

Once the debt is fully paid, the restrictions will be automatically lifted and the subscribers’ payment ability will be restored. This procedure is planned to be applied in other regions of the republic starting from December.

This measure is aimed at encouraging the population to pay their service debts on time. Source: zamin.uz
