E-Gate system fully launched at Tashkent airport
The automated passport control system for passengers — E-Gate — has been fully launched at Tashkent International Airport. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to Uzbekistan Airports, the identity verification process now takes only 15-20 seconds.

To use this system, a passenger simply needs to place their biometric passport on a special device and have their face scanned. As a result of recent modernization works, the number of E-Gate system lines has been increased to 20.

This allows for faster and more convenient management of passenger flow. This measure was implemented at the airport to improve service quality and create more comfortable conditions for passengers.

It is known that the E-Gate system was first launched at Tashkent International Airport in 2023 in the departure hall of the international terminal.
