Medical data in Uzbekistan has been unified into a single system

Medical data of 36 million citizens in Uzbekistan has been unified in a single MED-ID system. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The Ministry of Health announced this. These data are stored in the unified DMED system.
Currently, more than 20 government institutions, about 200 private medical organizations, and over 190 pharmacies in Yunusabad district of Tashkent city are connected to this platform. The "Electronic Prescription" system was launched on a trial basis specifically in this district.
This system plays an important role in combating the sale of counterfeit medicines. Additionally, doctors have been freed from paperwork, abandoning 70 types of forms and journals.
This innovation has allowed a 30 percent reduction in doctors' workload and significantly shortened the time to receive test results. At the same time, it serves to improve the quality of medical services for citizens.
