78% of commercial organizations in Uzbekistan are LLCs

The National Statistics Committee has provided updated information on commercial entities as of November 1, 2025. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to the official report, a total of 399.8 thousand commercial organizations are operating in the country. The majority of these organizations are limited liability companies (LLCs).

Their number exceeds 313 thousand, accounting for 78.3 percent of all enterprises. Based on this indicator, it can be seen that the most popular form of entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan is the LLC.

According to organizational and legal types, enterprises are distributed as follows: - Limited liability companies — 313,043 (78.3%); - Private enterprises — 46,776 (11.7%); - Family enterprises — 36,161 (9%); - Joint-stock companies — 632 (0.2%); - Other types of enterprises — 3,199 (0.8%). These data show that limited liability companies lead among commercial entities in Uzbekistan.
