
As of November 1, 2023, the number of enterprises with foreign capital participation in Uzbekistan reached 17.5 thousand. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
It was noted that this figure has nearly doubled over the past five years. This information was provided by the State Statistics Committee.
Among foreign investments, companies from China and Russia are leading. Specifically, 4.7 thousand companies belong to China, and 3.1 thousand companies belong to Russia.
Following them are companies from Turkey, Kazakhstan, and South Korea. It is noted that the majority of enterprises with foreign capital participation operate in the trade sector.
Additionally, there is a significant share in the industrial and construction sectors. Due to Uzbekistan's economic policy aimed at attracting foreign investments, positive growth is observed in this area.
