
Uzbekistan Airways airline has reached an agreement with China's CALC leasing company for the delivery of four new Airbus A321neo aircraft. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Within the framework of this agreement, the parties signed memorandums of understanding. The delivery of the aircraft is planned for 2027–2028.
The new airbuses will have a two-class seating configuration and will be equipped with Airspace Premium comfortable cabins. Additionally, the aircraft will feature modern entertainment systems and high-speed Wi-Fi.
This will provide passengers with a more comfortable flight experience. Cooperation with CALC has been ongoing for several years.
This new deal is an important part of Uzbekistan Airways' long-term fleet renewal program planned for 2026–2028. According to the plan, the airline will receive a total of six A321neo aircraft from CALC.
Thus, the number of A321neo model aircraft in the company’s fleet will reach 15. Shukhrat Khudoyqulov, Chairman of Uzbekistan Airways, emphasized that the airline's fleet is regularly updated, new technologies are being introduced, and the quality of service is constantly improving.
According to him, the A321neo aircraft combine fuel efficiency, advanced technical solutions, and a high level of comfort for passengers. This serves to strengthen the company's position as a leading airline that meets the demands of regional and international markets.
