According to the Uzbekistan Tourism Committee, the number of tourists from China visiting Uzbekistan in the first ten months of 2025 has exceeded 200 thousand. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
A significant factor in achieving this result was the declaration of 2025 as the "Year of Uzbekistan Tourism" in China. Additionally, the introduction of a visa-free regime between Tashkent and Beijing starting from June has also significantly increased the flow of tourists.
According to experts' forecasts, the number of tourists coming from China is expected to reach 250 thousand by the end of the year. This figure is 40 percent higher than the plan set at the beginning of the year and 3.7 times greater compared to last year's results.
These achievements demonstrate the effectiveness of Uzbekistan's efforts aimed at developing international cooperation in the tourism sector.
