According to the new decision of the mayor of Tashkent city, service tariffs in major markets and shopping complexes in the capital have been revised. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This regulation applies not only to parking lots but also to video and photo shooting services for commercial purposes. According to the document, the payment amount for passenger cars in parking lots around the markets varies depending on the days of the week.
Prices are lower on weekdays and increased on weekends. For example, on Saturdays and Sundays, parking up to 3 hours costs 25,000 soms, and for more than 4 hours, 50,000 soms is charged.
Officials aim to reduce congestion in parking lots and ensure traffic safety through this decision. Additionally, according to the new regulation, a separate fee has been introduced for video or photo shooting for commercial purposes within the market areas.
For creating commercial content, such as advertising materials, clips, or video reels, a fee of 5 million soms per hour has been established. This requirement is mainly targeted at bloggers, advertising companies, and production studios.
However, these restrictions do not apply to mass media and foreign tourists. They can operate without any permits or fees for filming for journalistic or tourist purposes.
The new regulation is emphasized to serve the development of the capital's market infrastructure, increase order and discipline, and ensure transparency in commercial activities. Source: zamin.uz
