
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, signed and officially approved the agreement on the border junction points with Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This information was announced by the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan. The agreement was signed in March 2023 in the city of Khujand, Tajikistan, by the heads of the three states.
This important document was developed with the aim of strengthening friendship and cooperation among the countries in the region. Following this, Shavkat Mirziyoyev sincerely congratulated the presidents of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan on the successful implementation of this agreement.
After the agreement was signed, air traffic between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan was restored. Additionally, several border crossing points between the countries resumed their operations.
This contributed to further development of economic and social ties in the region. Furthermore, the leaders of the three Central Asian states were awarded special honors for their services in ensuring peace.
The delegation highly appreciated the contributions of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Sadir Japarov, and Emomali Rahmon in strengthening regional stability.
