This new structure will be launched based on the President's decree and resolution dated November 19, 2025. The main task of this service will be to monitor order in the field of nature protection and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Ecological police officers will be granted the right to use force, special means, and service weapons. Additionally, they will be equipped with special body cameras.
This service will operate within the newly established National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change. Officers will monitor companies and government agencies for compliance with environmental protection rules.
Ecological police officers will have the authority to inspect compliance with environmental requirements. They have the right to use physical force and special means and will operate like regular law enforcement agencies.
This service will operate independently from other state bodies, and interference in its work is strictly prohibited. Ecological police officers will hold the status of state inspectors and will receive special titles and additional payments.
Through this structure, measures aimed at preventing violations related to environmental protection and ensuring ecological safety will be strengthened.
