
In October 2023, 27.1 thousand real estate transactions were carried out in Uzbekistan's real estate market. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This figure increased by 12% compared to September, reaching the highest level since August. According to the report by the Central Institute of Economic Research (CIER), the number of transactions increased by an average of 26% in the Khorezm, Bukhara, and Tashkent regions.
In Tashkent city, housing sales rose by 5.3% in one month and by 32% over the year. In the secondary housing market, the price per square meter increased by 2.4% in one month and by 7.4% over the year.
In Tashkent city, prices for this type of housing rose by only 0.7% in one month but decreased by 1% over the year. Prices for newly built homes increased by 2.1% over the year.
In the rental market of Tashkent city, prices remained almost unchanged in October, averaging 8.5 US dollars per square meter. The highest rental prices were recorded in the Mirabad, Yakkasaray, and Mirzo Ulugbek districts, where the average price per square meter was 10.2 US dollars.
According to CIER data, rental prices increased by 1.6% compared to October of the previous year.
