
Cooperation ties are planned to be established between the cities of Tashkent and New York. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was announced by the press service of the Tashkent city administration. This initiative was discussed during a meeting between New York Mayor Eric Adams and Tashkent Mayor Shavkat Umurzakov.
During the meeting, the leaders of both cities exchanged views on the development processes in large metropolises, pressing issues, and promising directions. Tashkent Mayor Shavkat Umurzakov presented to his American counterpart the main directions and goals of the "Tashkent Development Strategy until 2030."
The parties thoroughly discussed reforms in the fields of transport, logistics, and communal services, exploring opportunities for experience exchange in these areas. Information was also provided about projects carried out with international companies and their significance for the city of Tashkent was emphasized.
