Special mobile ecological laboratories have been launched in all districts of Tashkent city to more accurately monitor the state of atmospheric air and promptly identify sources of pollution. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This information was provided by the National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change. According to the committee, intensified monitoring is conducted 24 hours a day in every district of the capital.
These laboratories are equipped by the Analytical Control Center specializing in environmental protection. They have the capability to analyze air composition in real time.
Currently, one such laboratory is operating near the “Turkiston” metro station in the Yunusabad district. This laboratory determines the amount of harmful substances in the air and provides prompt information about pollution sources.
Additionally, it was announced that a special headquarters has been established to improve the ecological situation in the capital. Together with relevant agencies, sources of pollution are identified and necessary measures are being taken to eliminate them.
As a reminder, within the framework of efforts to improve air quality, it was previously reported that the use of mazut was discontinued at the Tashkent Thermal Power Plant located in the Yakkasaray district (source: zamin.uz).
