A new project is being implemented in Tashkent city to expand green areas. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Within the framework of the project, 11,800 trees were planted on an area of 30 hectares. The Tashkent city administration announced that these works are being carried out under the "Green Space" initiative.
The planted trees include various species such as poplar, ash, plane tree, catalpa, tulip tree, and oak. These trees not only enhance the city's appearance but also perform important ecological functions such as air purification, dust reduction, and microclimate improvement.
A modern drip irrigation system has been installed to ensure the healthy growth of the newly planted trees. This system uses alternative energy sources and a natural water reservoir has been created.
These measures help ensure the sustainable growth of the trees. This project is aimed not only at improving the city's ecology but also at creating a comfortable living environment for the population.
The city administration noted that special attention is being paid to such works.
