Russia's Wildberries trading platform plans to launch the WB Taxi service in Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This service is currently being implemented as a technical trial. This was reported by the Kursiv Uzbekistan publication.
According to company representatives, at the initial stage the service will operate in the form of a "closed club." This format allows for careful management of the service and ensures convenience for passengers.
For now, the service is being tested by platform employees and partners. At the same time, in the future, convenient prices for passengers, fast-arriving cars, and a 50 percent cashback in the online currency called "arbuz" will be offered.
According to WB Taxi head Anatoliy Smorgonskiy, the "closed club" format allows for gradual development of the system and careful monitoring of all processes. Feedback from club members helps improve and expand the service.
Additionally, the company plans to create favorable conditions for drivers as well. They will be offered low commissions and guaranteed income per shift if service conditions are met.
In the future, it is planned to expand the service areas so that all users can use the WB Taxi service. It is worth noting that Wildberries registered the WB Taxi company in Uzbekistan during the summer season.
A similar service is currently also being tested in Belarus.
