The latest air quality monitoring results in Tashkent city have been announced. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
As of 09:00 on November 27, 2025, the air composition was measured by automated monitoring stations. According to the data, the amount of PM10 coarse particles was 193.2 micrograms per cubic meter.
This indicator did not exceed the permitted maximum level of 300 micrograms per cubic meter. However, the concentration of PM2.5 fine particles was significantly higher, reaching 121.1 micrograms per cubic meter.
This is 2.02 times higher than the established norm (60 micrograms per cubic meter). According to experts, this situation is related not only to the increase in pollution levels but also to the inversion process caused by a sharp change in air temperature.
Inversion leads to the accumulation of particles in the lower layer of the air. Although some parameters decreased during the monitoring, the PM2.5 particle levels remain at a concerning level.
Experts emphasize the necessity to continue monitoring this situation. Source: Zamin.uz
