The quality of multi-storey buildings will be strictly controlled
Starting from 2026, a list of design organizations authorized to officially inspect the technical condition of multi-storey buildings will be introduced in Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This list will be included in the "Transparent Construction" system and will serve as an important tool for quality control. This is stated in the decree of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

According to this decree, the practice of issuing advisory conclusions in the republic will be abolished. The acceptance of multi-storey buildings for use will only be carried out upon receipt of the relevant positive conclusion.

Additionally, the decree envisages ensuring strict compliance of construction organizations with earthquake resistance requirements. Furthermore, strict mechanisms will be introduced to detect and eliminate illegal constructions.

These measures are aimed at improving construction quality in the country, ensuring safety, and creating comfortable and safe living conditions for citizens. Source: one.uz.
