
According to the data from the National Statistics Committee, a total of 33,287 foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for education purposes from January to October 2025. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This figure is 11,307 people or 51.5 percent higher compared to the same period last year. These data confirm the growing prestige of Uzbekistan as a regional education center.
The majority of foreign students come from countries such as India and Turkmenistan. 14,322 citizens from India and 8,348 citizens from Turkmenistan visited Uzbekistan for education.
Additionally, students have also arrived from countries like Tajikistan (2,323), Pakistan (1,620), China (1,254), and South Korea (806). The increasing number of students from developed countries such as the USA (429) and the United Kingdom (153) indicates that Uzbekistan's educational services are gaining international recognition.
Furthermore, a total of 1,431 citizens from other countries visited Uzbekistan for education. Such growth enhances the attractiveness of our country's education system and contributes to turning Uzbekistan into an international education hub.
