The number of foreign students coming to study in Uzbekistan has increased

From January to October 2025, 33,287 foreign students came to Uzbekistan for study purposes. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This figure has increased by 51.5 percent compared to last year. According to the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics, this number is 11,307 more than the same period in 2024.

Among foreign students studying in Uzbekistan, the highest numbers come from India and Turkmenistan. 14,322 students came from India, and 8,348 students came from Turkmenistan to study in Uzbekistan.

Additionally, students from Tajikistan, Pakistan, China, and other countries are also coming to Uzbekistan. This trend indicates the country's growing reputation in the field of international education.
