The length of the Tashkent metro will be 103 km by 2030
According to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's decision, the length of the Tashkent metro network is planned to reach 103 kilometers by 2030. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This was reported by the Ministry of Justice. These changes are being implemented to develop the capital's infrastructure and create comfortable conditions for the population.

Additionally, by that time, it is planned to increase the level of public transport usage by the population to 60 percent. The average speed of buses is expected to rise from the current 18 kilometers per hour to 24 kilometers per hour.

This will contribute to improving the efficiency of public transport. Furthermore, the new metro line from "Dostlik" station to Yangi Tashkent will be 21 kilometers long.

There will be nine stations on this route, with the capacity to serve up to 230,000 passengers daily. This project is aimed at making the transport system more convenient for the capital's residents.

The Chilonzor route is also planned to be expanded. This route will include both underground and above-ground sections.

These changes will enhance the transport capacity of the Tashkent metro and create convenience for the city's residents.
