
The Hydrometeorology Service Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Uzhydromet) announced that there is a high probability of avalanches in the Tashkent and Namangan regions from December 6 to 9. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This risk is associated with the expected precipitation and sudden changes in temperature. An increased danger level has been noted in mountainous areas.
Specifically, there is a risk of avalanches in the mountainous parts of the Chotqol range in the Bostanliq, Ohangaron, and Parkent districts of Tashkent region, as well as in the Pop district of Namangan region. Experts urge residents, vacationers, and drivers traveling in these areas to exercise caution.
Due to rapidly changing weather conditions, it is recommended to follow all warnings and instructions. Citizens planning trips to mountainous areas are advised to strictly adhere to safety measures and stay updated on weather news.
