Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated Sadir Japarov on his birthday

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, congratulated the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadir Japarov, on his birthday. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The congratulation was made via telephone. During the conversation, Shavkat Mirziyoyev wished Sadir Japarov strong health, long life, and prosperity.

The two heads of state highly appreciated their mutual cooperation and expressed intentions to further develop relations in the fields of economy and culture. The President of Kyrgyzstan, in turn, expressed gratitude to Shavkat Mirziyoyev for his sincere congratulations and wishes.

He emphasized that the friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan are steadily strengthening. During the conversation, strategic projects important for both countries, including the construction of the "Kambar-Ata-1" HPP, were discussed.

This project serves to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector. It was also noted that one day earlier, the President of Uzbekistan announced that the financing of this project will begin at the start of next year.
