
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev began the event dedicated to Agricultural Workers' Day with a dialogue with farmers, peasants, and rural workers. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The event was held in a festive atmosphere, and the labor of thousands of people working in the agricultural sector was specially recognized. In his speech, the head of state highly appreciated the work done throughout the year by all gardeners, livestock breeders, irrigators, agronomists, and machine operators in our country, expressing his sincere respect to them.
According to the President, the efforts of representatives of this sector are not only important for the development of agriculture but also play an invaluable role in boosting the economy, improving people's living standards, and ensuring food security. During the event, it was noted that this year has been very productive for the agricultural sector.
It was especially emphasized that more than 3.5 million people are actively working in this field, and the reforms carried out in farms have yielded results. Thanks to the dedicated labor of farmers and peasants, food stability in the country is once again recognized.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed gratitude to agricultural workers and stressed that the policy of supporting them will continue consistently in the coming years. Efforts in this area will contribute to conquering new heights in the development of our country's agriculture.
