Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced during a meeting with representatives of the agricultural sector that 50 agrodrones are planned to be brought from China. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
These drones will be organized as at least two mobile drone complexes in all regions of the country to serve farmers. The head of state also emphasized that the drones' payload capacity will be increased from 100 kilograms to 250 kilograms.
According to the President, the number of farmers and clusters is increasing, and the use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in their activities is being implemented. This creates a foundation for achieving high productivity.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev stated that in Uzbekistan, land plots and crop monitoring are carried out with the help of hundreds of drones. Additionally, a special drone center has been established under the Ministry of Agriculture.
China's DJI company has delivered more than 200,000 agrodrones worldwide by November 2025. These drones are widely used for watering and protecting plants, as well as in livestock and fisheries.
