
On December 11–12, the final meeting of the international award committee named after Sheikh Zayed "Human Fraternity" was held in Rome, the capital of Italy. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva, also participated in this prestigious event. Sharing her impressions about the meeting on her social media pages, Saida Mirziyoyeva emphasized that the process of thoroughly studying the candidates and evaluating their services in promoting human dignity was an important stage.
According to her, the individuals and organizations participating in this year's competition were recognized as candidates who made a significant positive impact on their communities. Saida Mirziyoyeva expressed her satisfaction with participating alongside the committee members in the process of selecting the award winners.
She expressed confidence that the collectively made decisions would contribute to the development of mutual understanding and constructive dialogue. The international award named after Sheikh Zayed "Human Fraternity" was established in 2019 in honor of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder of the United Arab Emirates.
This award is aimed at recognizing individuals and organizations who have contributed to strengthening fraternity among people, tolerance, peace, and the development of intercultural dialogue. The award is ceremoniously presented every year on February 4 – the International Day of Human Fraternity.
Laureates are also awarded a cash prize of 1 million US dollars. This prestigious award plays an important role in promoting humanitarian values.
