Major construction projects have started in Tashkent

A new phase of urban development has begun in the city of Tashkent. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
At the meeting held on December 16, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced the implementation of large investment projects in the capital. Among these projects, one of the largest is the Uchtepa City complex.
The Uchtepa City project will be carried out in the Uchtepa district and will cover an area of 37 hectares. The total value of the project is 1 billion dollars, within which a new urban environment with modern infrastructure is planned to be created.
In this area, the construction of a high-level hotel, business centers, shopping and entertainment complexes, as well as modern apartments, is envisaged. In addition, similar large-scale construction projects are planned in the Chilonzor, Yakkasaray, and Olmazor districts.
In these districts, new city-format complexes worth a total of 2.5 billion dollars will be built. According to the President's information, the Mirzo Ulugbek, Yunusobod, Mirobod, and Yashnobod districts will be transformed into innovation development centers.
In these areas, projects worth 1 billion dollars specializing in artificial intelligence, startups, finance, medicine, and education will be implemented. Experts emphasize that these initiatives will make a significant contribution to the economic development of Tashkent.
They will play an important role in creating new jobs and providing comfortable conditions for the population. The capital is gradually continuing to become one of Central Asia's advanced megacities.
