It is planned to create the opportunity for citizens and entrepreneurs to participate online in court proceedings at the Constitutional Court of Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Court sessions are expected to be broadcast via the internet, and an electronic data exchange system between ministries and agencies is also planned to be established. These proposals were presented to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during a presentation on digitizing the activities of the Constitutional Court and improving mechanisms for protecting constitutional rights.
These digital solutions are identified as one of the important directions for developing the judicial system. In particular, simplifying the appeals of citizens and entrepreneurs and improving the mechanism for their prompt consideration are of significant importance.
Additionally, measures to enhance the effectiveness of the constitutional complaint institution were discussed. According to the proposals, if a law applied by the court is found to be unconstitutional, this may serve as a basis for reconsidering the court decision.
These changes are expected to be an important step in protecting civil rights and ensuring transparency in the judicial system. Source: zamin.uz.
