A new strategy for 2026–2030 has been presented to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The document sets the main goal of protecting children from all forms of violence and creating a safe and healthy environment for them. Within the framework of the strategy, early identification of children at risk of violence and providing them with assistance is highlighted as a priority task.
In particular, it is planned to systematically provide social, psychological, educational, and legal services to children and their families. Additionally, the establishment of special centers in small-scale and open formats for children is envisaged.
At these centers, an individual work plan will be developed for each child, with special attention paid to their education, social adaptation, and development. The strategy also places great importance on protecting the legal interests of children.
Special training for specialists working with children, strengthening inter-agency cooperation, and guaranteeing children's rights in procedural processes are considered key directions. Furthermore, measures for involving socially vulnerable children in education, vocational guidance, and social integration have also been outlined.
Tasks have been set to reduce the risk of violence through work with families, support parents, and establish psychological and social assistance services. At the same time, to improve the child protection system, it is planned to introduce a unified electronic platform and an accounting and monitoring system for cases of violence.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev gave clear instructions to those responsible for ensuring consistent implementation and control of the strategy. This strategy is expected to be an important step in protecting children's rights and ensuring their safety.
