
The Uzbekhydromet service has announced the weather forecast for December 22–25. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the information, mainly variable and cold weather will persist across the regions of Uzbekistan. Precipitation is not expected in most areas, but fog may occur in some places and ice patches may form on the roads.
In the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region, the weather will be dry, with nighttime temperatures dropping to minus 10 degrees, and daytime temperatures rising up to 5 degrees Celsius.
In Bukhara and Navoi regions, light snowfall may occur in some places at the beginning of the week, but precipitation will stop in the following days.
In Tashkent city and the regions of Syrdarya, Samarkand, and Jizzakh, the weather will be stable, with a possibility of snowfall and ice patches on the roads on some days. Daytime temperatures will gradually rise, reaching up to 10 degrees Celsius.
In Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, short-term snowfall is expected on December 22, followed by clear weather.
Although no precipitation is expected in the Fergana Valley regions, morning fog may cause inconvenience for drivers.
In mountainous areas, snowfall and the risk of avalanches are expected on December 22–23. For this reason, specialists recommend being cautious when traveling on roads and using heating devices.
Overall, cold winter days will continue at the beginning of the week. Special attention is required when moving in conditions of fog, ice patches, and cold weather.
