
The lights of the main Christmas tree, considered the main symbol, were turned on in the Tashkent region on the occasion of the New Year holiday. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This tree is 30 meters tall and decorated with more than 28,000 lights and decorative elements. This huge tree creates a truly festive atmosphere for the viewers and serves to uplift people's spirits.
The regional governor Zoir Mirzayev participated in the ceremony of turning on the tree lights and announced the official opening of the New Year events. During the event, the square was filled with festive music, light shows, and a joyful mood.
Additionally, 100 Ded Moroz and Snegurochka characters also attended the celebration, delighting children and families. Guests had the opportunity to take photos around the tree, watch stage performances, and participate in various entertainment programs.
It is reported that the New Year events at the main tree square located in the “Nurafshon Business City” area will continue daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. During these festive days, various concerts, interactive games, and special programs for children are planned.
Thus, the New Year spirit has officially begun in the Tashkent region. The bright lights of the tree brought a festive mood to the city.
