
According to data from the National Statistics Committee, a total of 664.6 thousand new births were registered in Uzbekistan from January to September 2025. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Among the regions, the highest figure was observed in Samarkand region, where 80,903 babies were born. The next highest numbers were in Kashkadarya region (75,116) and Fergana region (74,614).
Additionally, 61,128 births were recorded in Surkhandarya region, 60,131 in Andijan, and 57,881 in Namangan. In Tashkent region, this figure was 49,007, while in Tashkent city, 47,703 babies were born.
The lowest figures were observed in Navoi region (18,594) and Syrdarya region (15,879). It is worth noting that earlier, it was reported that in the city of Karshi, Kashkadarya region, a woman gave birth to quadruplet girls after having five daughters.
