As of December 1, 2025, the number of enterprises with foreign capital participation in Uzbekistan reached 17.9 thousand. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The State Statistics Committee provided this information. This figure once again confirms the attractiveness of the country's economy for foreign investments.
The most attractive sector for foreign investors is the trade sector, with 6.4 thousand enterprises operating in this area. This situation is related to the activity of the domestic market, high consumer demand, and the expansion of logistics capabilities.
The industrial sector ranks second, with 3.7 thousand foreign capital enterprises registered in this field. They mainly engage in processing, manufacturing, and export-oriented products.
Foreign investor activity is also noticeable in the construction as well as information and communication sectors. In each of these sectors, 1.3 thousand enterprises are operating.
This indicates increased interest in infrastructure and technological renewal processes. In the hotel and catering services sector, 737 enterprises are active.
The growth of tourism potential and the increase in tourist flow make this sector attractive for investors. In the transport and storage sector, there are 586 enterprises; in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, 447; and in healthcare and social services, 209 foreign capital enterprises exist.
In other economic sectors, more than 3 thousand enterprises with foreign participation are operating. Overall, 4.2 thousand enterprises are established as joint ventures, while 13.7 thousand are founded entirely on foreign capital.
According to experts, these indicators signify that the legal environment for investors in Uzbekistan is improving, economic stability is strengthening, and market openness is increasing. Source: State Statistics Committee.
