President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced the priority directions of the country's new investment policy. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to him, Uzbekistan plans to attract foreign investments amounting to 50 billion dollars by 2026. It was emphasized that these funds should be directed not only to financing projects but also to introducing advanced technologies and producing products with high added value.
The head of state announced that special support measures are planned for strategic investors. In particular, land plots for implementing investment projects will be allocated directly at market value.
Also, when the land category is changed, the possibility of paying for the unused part in installments will be created. To simplify processes, an electronic platform based on the "single window" principle will be launched.
Through this system, investors will have the opportunity to resolve issues of land allocation, changing land categories, obtaining construction permits, and connecting to infrastructure in one place. This will eliminate the need to apply to various agencies.
All relevant ministries and agencies are planned to be connected to this platform. Source: zamin.uz
