
Comprehensive environmental inspections were conducted in Tashkent city and region to protect the environment and improve air quality. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
These activities took place from November 25 to December 24, resulting in the detection of 1,128 violations. Relevant documents were prepared for each case, and administrative measures were taken against the violating enterprises.
This was reported by Podrobno.uz. During the inspections, the operations of 110 enterprises that caused significant environmental damage were temporarily suspended.
Of these enterprises, 99 are located in Tashkent region, and 11 are in Tashkent city. The enterprises were closed for 10 working days with a requirement to eliminate the violations.
The commission paid special attention to environmental issues in the agricultural sector. As a result, dust and gas purification equipment was installed in 94 greenhouses.
Additionally, work is ongoing to convert greenhouses to environmentally friendly fuel. Currently, 6 greenhouses are connected to the gas network, and another 7 have submitted applications to obtain technical conditions.
Environmental control measures are continuing, and on December 23 alone, 8 more violations were recorded. Earlier, it was also reported that the operations of 20 industrial enterprises in Navoi region were temporarily suspended.
The total amount of fines and compensations exceeded 10 billion soums. Such measures are being implemented to ensure environmental protection and ecological sustainability.
