
Uzbekistan's gross domestic product (GDP) is expected to reach 167 billion dollars next year. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was announced by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in his address to the Oliy Majlis. This indicator reflects the consistent growth of the country's economic potential.
In his speech, the President also announced the implementation of the "Doubling Production and Efficiency" program. Within the framework of this program, it is planned to attract international loans and grants amounting to 200 million dollars.
These funds will be directed towards introducing modern technologies and developing the manufacturing sector in the country. Additionally, in the near future, the establishment of the "Fourth Industrial Revolution Center" in Uzbekistan is envisaged.
This center will focus on applying "Industry 4.0" solutions in practice. In particular, work will be carried out on introducing advanced technologies such as robotics, the Internet of Things, and "smart factories."
Moreover, companies will have the opportunity to test new technologies before applying them to production. This will accelerate the implementation of innovative ideas and increase production efficiency.
