
During January-September 2025, a significant increase in birth rates was observed in Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the National Statistics Committee, a total of 664.6 thousand live births were recorded across the country during this period. Statistics show that the majority of births were registered as single births.
Specifically, in 649,041 cases, one child was born. Additionally, 15,136 cases of twin births were identified.
Furthermore, among the less common cases, 421 events of triplets or more were recorded. Experts emphasize that these figures indicate a stable natural population growth.
Notably, some regions continue to hold leading positions in terms of the number of births. This plays an important role in ensuring demographic growth stability in the country.
