
According to meteorologists, a sharp change in weather is expected in the territory of Uzbekistan in January. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
At the beginning of the month, mainly dry and relatively warm weather will be observed. On January 1–2, there will be no precipitation, nighttime temperatures may range from -2 to +3 degrees, and daytime temperatures around +8 to +13 degrees.
However, starting from January 3, a moist air flow will enter from the Caspian Sea region. This may cause precipitation in some areas, which could be rain, sleet, or snow.
In the southeastern and central regions, precipitation may continue until January 4. Precipitation is expected to be low until the end of the first ten days of January, but nighttime temperatures may drop to -5 degrees.
Daytime temperatures will be around +0 to +5 degrees. In the second ten-day period, a sharp change in temperature is expected.
At night, temperatures will drop from +1…+6 degrees to -1…-6 degrees, and during the day, temperatures may fall from +10…+15 degrees to -2…+3 degrees. In northern regions, nighttime temperatures may drop to -13…-15 degrees, and daytime temperatures may fall to -3…-8 degrees.
In the third ten-day period of January, cold weather will intensify further. Nighttime temperatures will drop to -7…-12 degrees, and in some places to -15…-17 degrees.
Daytime temperatures may be as low as -3…-8 degrees. In northern regions, nighttime temperatures may fall to -15…-20 degrees, and in some areas to -22…-25 degrees.
Daytime temperatures are expected to drop to -5…-10 degrees, and in some places to -13…-15 degrees. By the end of January, cold weather may become even stronger.
