
According to data published by the National Statistics Committee, 664.6 thousand babies were born in Uzbekistan from January to September 2025. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Analysis of these figures shows that births mainly belong to young families. Looking at the age distribution of fathers, the number of fathers under 25 years old was 74,946 (11.3%).
The largest share belongs to fathers aged 25–39, numbering 542,512 (81.6%). Fathers aged 40 and above accounted for 47,140 (7.1%).
Examining the age distribution of mothers, mothers under 25 years old numbered 269,823 (40.6%). Mothers aged 25–39 accounted for 385,424 (58%), while mothers aged 40 and above numbered 9,351 (1.4%).
These data indicate that men and women aged 25–39 mainly lead in having children. This age period is considered an active phase of family life.
