Tashkent International Airport confirmed its position once again as Uzbekistan's largest aviation hub by serving 40,153 flights and nearly 10 million passengers in 2025. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The information was provided by the "Uzbekistan Airports" company. According to statistical data, passenger traffic increased by 14 percent and the number of flights rose by 15 percent compared to 2024.
For comparison, in 2024 the airport handled 8.7 million passengers and 34,789 flights. The main reasons for this growth are cited as the opening of new routes, an increase in the number of flights, and heightened passenger mobility.
This situation reflects the development of the country's transport infrastructure and once again highlights Tashkent's significance as the main center of aviation in Uzbekistan. At the same time, the airport's technical capabilities and quality of service are also emphasized as major contributors to these achievements.
