Uzbekistan increases the number of visa-free countries to 50

Uzbekistan plans to increase the number of countries its citizens can visit visa-free to 50 by 2030. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This goal is reflected in the updated development strategy project for 2026–2030. This was reported by the *Podrobno.uz* publication.
According to the document, agreements on visa-free or simplified entry procedures will be gradually expanded. In particular, it is planned to sign agreements with 2 more countries in 2026 and 5 new countries in 2027.
As a result, the number of visa-free destinations is expected to reach 45 by 2028, 48 by 2029, and 50 by 2030. At the same time, the list of countries with simplified entry procedures is also planned to be increased.
During 2026–2030, the aim is to raise the number of such countries to 60. This list includes countries that have introduced electronic visas, visas on arrival at the airport, or other simplified entry procedures.
Additionally, in the coming years, a mobile platform is planned to be launched to facilitate consular services. It is forecasted that the number of users of this digital service will reach 15,000 in 2026 and 100,000 by 2030.
According to the data, currently, citizens of Uzbekistan have visa-free access to 35 countries. In addition, 42 countries offer various forms of simplified entry procedures.
Such innovations serve to make international travel easier for citizens.
