January 5: Risk of landslides in districts and mountains in Tashkent

No precipitation is expected in Samarkand, Jizzakh, and Sirdaryo regions, with temperatures forecasted to rise to +2…+7 degrees. In the Fergana Valley, daytime temperatures will be similar, but due to fog, visibility on the roads may decrease.
In Karakalpakstan and Khorezm regions, temperatures are expected to range from -2 to +3 degrees. It is noted that wind speeds in some parts of the country may increase up to 12 meters per second.
In mountainous areas, the risk of avalanches will remain on January 5. According to meteorologists, no precipitation is expected in the mountains, and temperatures may warm up to 3 degrees.
Additionally, warnings have been issued about the possibility of fog and wind strengthening up to 12 meters per second.
