Fire broke out at the "Aviasozlar" market in Yashnobod

On January 4, a fire broke out at the “Aviasozlar” (formerly “Kadysheva”) market located in the Yashnobod district of Tashkent city. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The Emergency Situations Ministry’s press service reported this. It was stated that the fire was reported at 19:19 local time.
Five minutes later, at 19:24, four fire-rescue teams arrived at the scene. The fire was contained immediately and completely extinguished by 19:34.
No one was injured as a result of the incident. Approximately 20 square meters of the trading area were damaged by the fire.
The fire started at the Tegen shop, located near the staircase leading to the second floor of the market’s food block. It is worth noting that a major fire also occurred in this market area on the night of December 13.
Experts are currently investigating the causes of the fire and the extent of the material damage. It is also reported that this is the second fire recorded at this market within less than a month.
Additionally, it was previously reported that a bakery trading stall at the “Aviasozlar” bus station near the market also caught fire. No official information has been provided regarding whether these incidents were intentional.
