Oil leakage at the wellhead was controlled, measures were taken

According to the Ministry of Energy, an oil leakage was recorded in the "M-25" oil field area in Boysund. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Additional measures have been taken in the area to prevent this incident and avoid environmental damage. In particular, special protective pools were constructed along the riverbed.
The collected oil liquid is continuously delivered to a special site. At this site, two specially insulated sludge pools, each with a capacity of 5,000 cubic meters, have been established.
These pools allow for the safe storage of oil and its efficient use later on. According to the ministry, all work is being carried out in full compliance with industrial and environmental safety requirements.
Currently, oil sample analysis is underway. Based on the analysis results, the possibilities for processing this oil will be studied.
At the same time, geological research is continuing in the area. It was emphasized that the situation is under constant monitoring.
At present, the oil liquid has been controlled, and cleanup operations are being carried out to remove the oil that initially flowed into the canal. Source: One.uz.
