Additional holiday will be given in February for 1st graders

In Uzbekistan, an additional one-week holiday is planned for 1st grade students in February. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This is established by the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution No. 140 dated March 15, 2017. According to this resolution, an additional holiday in February is allocated for 1st grade students, and its duration is determined by the pedagogical council of each school.

That is, the week during which the holiday will take place is set according to the internal decisions of the school. Also, the winter holiday in schools began on December 28 of the previous year.

Since January 11, 2026, falls on a Sunday, it has been announced that the third quarter lessons will start on January 12, 2026. This information is implemented based on the Cabinet of Ministers' resolutions.
